They can range from $200USD to $2000USD and upwards. No, I don't know where you can get them cheaper. If you're concerned about them being expensive, already this is not a hobby for you.

• They're expensive. Why spend so much on a doll?
Because I want to and because I can. They're fulfilling in every artistic endeavor I enjoy -- photography, photo editing, painting, writing, all that good stuff.

• Are you selling them/Can I have them?
Emphatically no, unless I post a "For Sale".

Not explicitly. I don't have enough confidence to paint other people's dolls. If you really, really want me to, I'll give it a shot.

Sure! Fanart's cool. Give me a link and I'll feature it in my journal. And I've got no problems with my photos being used as pose references. I believe strongly in drawing from life to learn, so in the case of my own photos, you're welcome to use them for references.

• Can I write fanfiction about your characters?
No. You can't.

• Can I use your photos for avatars/signatures/wallpapers/on other websites, etc.?
Short answer: No.

No, they look like my characters, thanks. On that note, don't use my photos to represent your characters. My dolls are created to represent my own creative endeavors, so how about you use some of your own creativity to come up with your own?

I have a Canon 450D/XSi with the kit lens and a 100mm EF f/2.8 macro lens. Previously I used my boyfriend's Sony Cybershot DSC-F707. I use Photoshop CS4 to edit my photos.

No point in having characters without a story. While in my head my characters' stories occur in a sort of 19th century steampunk-ish era, my photos don't reflect that. They're anachronistic characters like that. There is written story, but nothing extensive posted anywhere. The story takes place over the span of about five years. No vampires, no elves, but mutated humans of varying extremes are present. Science and religion are beginning to clash; technology is advancing and the church is becoming more zealous by the day. Old family feuds continue, espionage and assassination... one day I'll get it all figured out and maybe it won't suck.

It's a tale told between two cities, the northern city-state of Three Vales and the sprawling southern urban wasteland of Kahatao, and it's ultimately the story about the wayward progeny of each, three hailing from the north and three proudly of the south, and the loyalty they eventually find in each other amidst the prejudice, treachery, and the unforgiving society they live in.

What's "R727" mean?
R = Room. 727 stands for Ysrael, who was my first doll.

What's the deal with the numbers?
The numbers correspond with the character's initials. Yael's initials are YKY. Y=25 (2+5=7). K=11 (1+1=2). So YKY = 727. Mathey is MKD. M=13. K=11. D=4. MKD=424.
