Spreading the word. Just because, you know. It can't be said enough. I don't care if you're tired of hearing about it, we're tired of it happening. Using artwork without permission is completely disrespectful of the artist and their work.
So go read =Dieux-Faux and =cloudnagkasalaangel's journals if you haven't already, read up on what's going on, they describe the situations pretty thoroughly.

Really, I don't understand why people think it's okay to use images that are copyrighted. Copyrighted, watermarked, and explicitly labeled as someone else's intellectual property. I know if you're looking at these images, you see these watermarks. And if you can see an image, clearly you must be able to read the text that says "Do Not Use Without Permission". Clearly. I'm not sure where people get off on ignoring that. If I took an image you drew or a description you wrote of your original character and claimed it as my own, I bet you'd flip your shit on me, wouldn't you?
Stealing someone else's intellectual property really says something about your own intellectual capabilities, I'll tell you that. It's never okay, and don't think you won't get found out. There are plenty of people out there who understand the concept of copyright and our terms of usage of our photos and they wouldn't hesitate to inform us (andweloveyouguysforit).
Aaand, because I enjoy being informative, have some info on Copyright Law.
And don't you fucking dare tell me "art theft is bound to happen". No, no, it isn't, I refuse to be complacent enough to believe that bullshit.
