I thought my photo-editing tutorial was excessive. BIG FILE. This one's a whole lot of tl;dr, but it's a tutorial about text, so I guess no one can complain that much.
Someone make a tutorial about how HUGANTIOUS files are completely unnecessary so I can read and learn. -_-
So here's the typography tutorial. First part is about what all the menus on the Photoshop/Illustrator Character Palette do in simple terms. The interesting bit, different ways to play with text and make it look good on photos and images, that's at the bottom. Feel free to skip ahead.
Any type geeks out there, correct me on my definitions -- it's been a long time since I set foot in a typography class. If anything doesn't make sense, ask away~
My example text, "Counting Down the Hours", comes from a Ted Leo and the Pharmacists song I happened to be listening to when I was making this. ^^
Waa~ You are so sweet to post something like this. Being the Photoshop geek that I am, I already knew some of it, but there were some things, like the definitions and whatnot, and even some tips, that I was not aware of! Really interesting. ^-^ *bows*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
